Starting a Sale

The POS interface is optimized for speed. You can search for drugs by their generic name, brand name, or use a barcode scanner.

Dispensing via HMS Prescription

If the patient has a prescription generated by a doctor in the ZenoHosp HMS, simply scan the prescription QR code or enter the Patient ID. The POS will automatically populate the cart with the prescribed medicines and dosages.

Batch Selection & Expiry

When adding a drug to the cart, ZenoPharmacy automatically employs a **FEFO (First Expiring, First Out)** logic. It will prompt you to pick from the batch that is closest to expiry, reducing wastage.

Billing & GST

Once the cart is ready, click **Generate Bill**. The system automatically calculates the correct GST based on the HSN codes configured in the Drug Master, and provides a print-ready invoice. Payments are logged directly into the Finance module's "Pharmacy Cash" account.
